Catherine Buntain Jeske

Cathy graduated from McMaster University with her Bachelor of Arts in Labour Studies in 1987 (Summa Cum Laude) and obtained her LLB from the University of Windsor in 1993. She articled in Hamilton before being called to the bar in 1995.

Cathy practices largely in the area of real estate and acts on behalf of individuals and businesses with respect to the purchase, sale, leasing and refinancing of all manner of residential and commercial properties. She also acts on behalf of builders and developers with respect to real estate development projects including condominium developments (new and conversions, residential and commercial) and residential subdivisions.

In addition to real estate, Cathy also works with individuals and their families to assist in their estate planning (wills, trust and powers of attorney) and estate administration matters.

Cathy is a member of the Hamilton Law Association, Canadian Bar Association, Estate Planners’ Council of Hamilton and the Rotary Club of Hamilton AM. She is also a member of the West End Home Builders’ Association (WEHBA) Women in Industry Committee. She is a former member of the board of Hamilton Habitat for Humanity and proudly provides pro bono services to Habitat and its homeowners.
