Simone Bilato

Simone was born and raised in Ancaster, Ontario. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from McMaster University and her Juris Doctorate from the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law in Thunder Bay, Ontario. She was called to the bar in 2018.

Simone practices in civil, commercial and estate litigation.

Simone represents individuals and businesses in a variety of matters including contractual disputes, shareholder and partner disputes, real estate litigation, employment matters, mortgage enforcement and construction matters.

Simone also has experience with legal issues involving the assets of a deceased person’s estate and the protection and care of individuals that are incapable. She has represented clients on will challenges, disputes between attorneys and more.

Simone has advocated for clients before various administrative tribunals, including seeking judicial review of administrative decisions, processes and the delegation of executive authority before the Divisional Court. Simone has appeared as counsel on behalf of clients before all levels of Court in Ontario.
